What led you to start your apprenticeship at Haines Watts?

After attending the apprenticeship talk that Haines Watts hosted at St Brendans I applied asap. I really loved the presentation and it seemed like a lovely place to work.

With an apprenticeship I can learn on the job and then the theory behind it after so it makes more sense to me.

Did you find office accountancy to be what you anticipated?

Yes, it was exactly what I thought it would be like!

Why did you choose an apprenticeship?

I chose an apprenticeship because I find myself to always learn better when doing something first than studying it. With an apprenticeship I can learn on the job and then the theory behind it after so it makes more sense to me.

What would you recommend to others?

100% an apprenticeship. I have zero regrets doing an apprenticeship over university.
