Ascendant Recruitment was established in 2003, with a clear intent to offer a service deliberately different to other recruitment agencies.
We wanted Ascendant Recruitment to stand for something, and that thing was different! We wanted to be easy to deal with, to the point of being fun to deal with. We like to say that we take what we do very seriously, but we do not take ourselves seriously.

There are no perfect candidates. There is no such thing as perfect matching. And there are no perfect jobs. We consult with our clients and find them like-minded people, with demonstrable relevant skills, to interview. It is often our “wild cards” (Nonperfect candidates) who, having peaked our recruitment sixth sense, smash their interviews, and offered the role. Formulaic recruiters often miss the real superstars; our experience has taught us that excellence comes in many guises and our skill in this area adds massive value to our clients’ businesses.

We love to find clients who want to stay with us for the next 10 years. Our client retention is over 90% because we value and nourish long-term relationships. Often, we make short-term sacrifices, like anyone trying to build a relationship with solid foundations.
