James joined Haines Watts after leaving university in 2001 and started working as a trainee accountant before qualifying in 2004 as one of our home-grown successes. Soon after qualifying he became the lead audit senior, before progressing to become manager in charge of compliance services and then promotion to Director in 2011.
James has a wealth of knowledge and in-depth experience in financial accounting, business planning and providing management advice to small and medium sized owner managed businesses. He quickly gets straight to the core of any issues as they arise and provides an effective, measured solution to his clients. As a qualified Audit Director (RI) and part of the national Haines Watts Audit Committee, he has extensive experience in leading complex audit assignments, in particular reporting to overseas parents and auditing of larger groups.
